Saraswat & Associates is committed to providing pro bono services as part of our social as well as professional responsibility to provide access to the legal system for all irrespective of economic or social status. We encourage all attorneys in our firm to perform at least 100 hours of pro bono work per year. The quality and level of a professional’s pro bono work is considered in the same way as fee-generating work at the time of performance reviews.
Our firm has established a Pro Bono Committee responsible for implementing our pro bono policy and coordinating the firm’s pro bono activities. The Pro Bono Committee includes partners and associates who represent the firm’s different practice groups. The firm’s management committee appoints the members of the Pro Bono Committee and the chair of the committee. The Pro Bono Committee is responsible for developing, monitoring and implementing the firm's pro bono policy.
Our Pro Bono Committee undertakes various socio-legal projects for the benefit of public at large and encourage our associates to work with non-profit organizations.
